Pencil Nine Sudoku is a calm, local-first Sudoku app for iOS and Android, published by Arthur Baghdasaryan. This page explains the app's privacy practices and provides support contact information.
Information stored on your device
The app stores Sudoku progress, notes, settings, streaks, statistics, theme choices, daily puzzle state, and lifetime unlock entitlement locally on your device. Pencil Nine Sudoku does not require an account and does not operate its own backend account, cloud-save, chat, or user-generated-content service.
You can delete local app data by deleting the app from your device. Apple or Google may include app data in device backup when backup is enabled in the device settings.
Analytics
Pencil Nine Sudoku uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand general app usage, stability, and feature engagement. Analytics may include events such as screen views, puzzle starts, puzzle completions, achievement unlocks, and purchase-related actions.
Analytics events do not include Sudoku notes, entered board values, payment-card details, contact lists, precise location, photos, or messages.
Purchases
Pencil Nine Sudoku offers a one-time lifetime unlock product: pencil_nine_lifetime_unlock.
Purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. The app does not receive or store payment-card details. The app may check purchase status with the platform so you can unlock paid features and restore purchases.
Achievements
Pencil Nine Sudoku may support Apple Game Center and Google Play Games Services achievements. If you choose to use those platform features, Apple or Google may process your game profile, achievement, or sign-in information under their own privacy policies.
Advertising
Pencil Nine Sudoku does not show banner ads, rewarded-interstitial ads, or app-open ads.
Free players may choose to watch a rewarded ad when requesting a hint. Free play is limited to three total hints per puzzle, including hints granted after an ad cannot be loaded or displayed. Watching a rewarded ad is never required to start, continue, finish, or save a puzzle.
Free players may also see one interstitial ad after a solved puzzle has already been saved. This completion ad does not interrupt active play or block saved progress. The one-time lifetime unlock removes these ads and provides unlimited hints.
Pencil Nine Sudoku uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK and Google's User Messaging Platform. Depending on device settings, consent choices, region, and ad availability, Google Mobile Ads may collect and share an IP address used to estimate general location, app interactions such as launches, taps, and video views, diagnostic and performance information, and device or advertising identifiers. Google describes these uses as advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. Data is encrypted in transit.
Consent or privacy choices are requested where required. Android users can reset or delete their advertising ID in device settings, and platform privacy controls may limit personalised advertising. Pencil Nine Sudoku does not operate its own advertising profile database.
Children
Pencil Nine Sudoku is a general-audience Sudoku game and is not directed to children under 13.
